Using a straightforward concept, combating world hunger
These sites will be used to promote similar backyard gardening activities at other schools and at family levels. Pumpkin leaves, green beans, okra, cabbage, sweet potato, and eggplant are among the crops that will be grown. More specifically, the following will be visible:
Capacity development on Health and Nutrition, Safe Food Preparation, improved farming techniques, etc
Provision of WASH Specific facilities including toilet blocks, improved water schemes and wash-hand stations
Provision of vital school-level infrastructures like classrooms, food preparation stations (kitchens), warehouses for commodity storage, etc
Advocacy and awareness raising campaigns for school health and nutrition
