CVG's NOURISH2FLOURISH Program
NOURISH2FLOURISH is CVG’s flagship Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) program that provides locally sourced healthy, diverse and nutritious meals to children at their place of education. Our model provides a steady, structured and profitable market to local farmers through a simple idea:
“Healthy meals in schools, grown by local communities.”
Our approach improves child nutrition and learning while boosting local agriculture and strengthening household resilience, especially in conflict-affected areas.

CVG's School Gardens
As part of the Nourish2Flourish programme, CVG is promoting school garden initiatives, considering their potential to transform food habits of current and future generations, serving as learning spaces for the school-aged children – helping them to become aware of the impacts of food production on the environment and on agri-food systems.

Within the framework of our Home-Grown School Feeding program, branded as Nourish2Flourish, each school establishes a productive garden to grow leafy vegetables, spices, and micronutrient-rich foods.
These gardens supplement meals with fresh produce, serve as outdoor classrooms for agriculture and nutrition, and promote environmental stewardship among pupils
Food Preparation
The Design Thinking Process
As an integral part of our program design, safe food preparation is central. CVG strives for a safe, dignified meal preparation process – using both centralized and decentralized energy-saving and eco-friendly kitchens. With the drive to scale this programme, CVG has designed standard cooking facilities that incorporate: fuel-efficient stoves, storage rooms, water access points, handwashing and dishwashing stations
