Dr. Mundih Noelar
Dr Mundih Noelar Njohjam is the head of healthcare programmes of the Community Vision Group, leading the two health portfolios in Cameroon (Hepatitis B Advocacy and Education Campaign as well as the Community Vision Group Eyecare programme) she a medical Doctor, passionate researcher and social activist. She has developed a great interest in improving the health condition and quality of life of the most vulnerable population in her country and beyond. She is the CEO/Founder of an NGO, Epilepsy Awareness and Aid Association (EAAA) which aims to raise awareness and educate the public about Epilepsy. Dr Mundih also championed the creation of health Clubs in some schools in the North West region of Cameroon with the aim of educating students and pupils on health issues affecting them, while building their capacity on leadership. As a researcher, she is currently the principal investigator for a research project which seeks to assess the impact of Epilepsy on people living with Epilepsy in medically disadvantaged communities in Cameroon. The study is funded by the Royal Society for tropical Medicine and hygiene, UK. She is a 2021 YALI West African Emerging leader and African Women Leadership Program fellow.
