Jacqueline Fonkwo is a medical doctor with four years of clinical work experience. She is also the co-founder and the CEO of a youth-led organization called Youth 2 Youth. She has been outstanding in advocating for improved adolescent healthcare while collaborating with other organizations in Cameroon, especially in the conflict-affected regions of the country. Since 2017, with her blend of clinical and community-based practice, she has impacted over 5000 young people through inclusive FP/SRHR knowledge sharing.

Dr. Jacqueline N. Fonkwo is a global health leader and strategic partnerships expert with over 10 years of experience advancing health, youth development, and sustainable development initiatives across Africa and globally. She serves as the Board Secretary  of Community Vision Group (CVG), where she provides high-level strategic, technical, and advisory support to CVG’s programs and partnerships, strengthening the organization’s vision, growth, and impact.

Professionally, Jacqueline has held senior leadership and advisory roles within international organizations, including the UN Foundation, where she served as a Global Consultant (Manager-level) for Adolescent and Youth Partnerships under FP2030. In this role, she led the development and localisation of global adolescent and youth strategies across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, supported multi-country implementation in over 40 countries, and helped secure multi-million-dollar, multi-year funding from major donors such as USAID. Earlier in her career, Jacqueline served as a Medical Officer with the Ministry of Public Health in Cameroon and as a Health Outreach Coordinator with ZoeMed. She is also the Co-Founder of Youth2Youth Cameroon, a nationally and internationally recognized youth-led organization focused on health promotion, non-communicable disease prevention, and youth empowerment. 

Jacqueline holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Yaoundé I, Master of Science in Preventive Cardiovascular Medicine | University of South Wales, UK; Master of Science in Global Health | Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, UK and is currently pursuing an MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a recipient of several prestigious global leadership awards and fellowships including the Mandela Washington Fellowship and Commonwealth Shared Masters Scholarship. Fluent in English and French, Jacqueline is deeply committed to advancing equitable, youth-centered, and partnership-driven solutions that strengthen CVG’s programs and contribute to lasting impact for the communities it serves.
