Module 7: Fitting Communities into the Global Development Agenda

This module aims to directs participant to the world of development, facilitating their understanding of global development issues and the need to function as partners, networks as well as collaborate with others for sustained development initiatives. The module centres on the national, continental, and global development agenda, notably the Africa Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Also, in context depending on the origin of participants, contextual analysis on how communities can be fitted into the national development agenda will be considered. The session emphasizes how community leaders can initiate local actions that help contribute to the realisation of the global objectives.
